2m Extra 260

New from PBG Composites. A 2 metre version of the PBG Composites Extra 260 TOC model.

The prototype shown below was successfully test flown on 22nd September 2001. Final weight of the prototype was approx 5kg, stickers and spats still to be added.

Powered by the OS 140 RX and guided by JR Radio.

How does it fly ? .... Pretty Bloody Good of course !

Our second 2m Extra 260 has now been completed and test flown. The balsa & glass  composite fuselage has allowed us to complete the model under 5Kg. The engine is an OS160FX. Its in "Sport Flyer" mode at the moment .... eg the std muffler is fitted. Plenty of power for the hovering and 3D manouvers, plus the muffler fits in the cowl. All up weight of the completed model is 4.8 Kg....so its F3A / Artistic Aerobatics legal !
