2002 F3A Trans Tasman On the 16th and 17th of March 2002 the Hawkes Bay Radio Flyers in New Zealand were host to the 2002 F3A Trans Tasman. The Trans Tasman is a bi-annual event, and has been held in New Zealand & Australian alternatley since the early 1970's. Each country fields a team of 5 pilots. New Zealand has not faired well over the last 30 years, only winning the event 3 or 4 times. This time the Kiwi team were successfull.
